Privacy Policy

PlayEscape (the “Service”) is an app for playing escape room games on iPhone and Android phones. The Service is operated by its developer, Ilkyum Kim. This policy explains how the Service handles your information.

The Service is used without signing up or logging in. The Service does not ask for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number, and it does not send your information to any server.

The Korean version of this policy is the original. If a translation differs from it, the Korean version prevails.

The Service does not collect your personal information. Specifically, it does not collect or send the following to a server:

• ·Personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth
• ·Location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
• ·Advertising identifiers (IDFA, advertising ID) and device identifiers
• ·Usage records, error reports, or crash reports

All escape rooms are included in the app, so you can play them without an internet connection, and the Service does not communicate with the operator’s servers while you play.

So that you can continue a game and see your records, the following information is stored only on your device. It is never sent to the operator, and the operator cannot see it.

• ·The list of rooms you have added, and when you added them
• ·Your progress in each room: the current scene, the items you hold, the puzzles you have solved, your play time, and the number of hints you used
• ·Escape records: whether you escaped, how long it took, and when you last played

Deleting the app also deletes this information. On Android it is not included in device backups. On iPhone, if you have turned on a full device backup such as iCloud Backup, it may be included in that backup, which is handled under Apple’s policies.

The Service shows no ads, uses no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting tools (SDKs), and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

If you email us at admin@playmong.com, the operator receives your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to reply to you, do not share it with anyone, and delete it one year after we finish replying. If you want it deleted sooner, please ask at the same address.

Information that the Apple App Store and Google Play process when you download or update the app is governed by each company’s privacy policy. When the app opens this website or your email app, what happens next is governed by the policies of your browser and email service.

The Service does not provide your information to third parties or outsource its processing.

Because the Service collects no one’s personal information, it also collects no personal information from children under 13 (under 14 in Korea under the Personal Information Protection Act, or a higher age if the law of your country sets one). If we learn that a child has sent us an email, we promptly delete any information beyond what is needed to reply.

You can erase the game records stored on your device at any time by deleting the app. To access, correct, or delete an email you sent to the operator, please ask by email. We handle requests within 30 days of receiving them.

The Service has a privacy officer who oversees the handling of personal information and responds to inquiries.

If we add features that handle your information, such as sign-up, payments, or server storage, we will update this policy before those features start. When we change this policy, we will post the change on this page 7 days before it takes effect, or 30 days before if it is important to you, such as a change in the information we collect.
